We should be wary and in quickly believing these kind of emails without verifying the authenticity of such, especially in this world of the internet. Always take information from the web with a grain of salt, especially when there's no particular author or source. People can quickly spread rumours and before you know it, it becomes the truth. Hate mails are especially dangerous in this time. In this age of internet, where information spread quickly and there's no time to verify them. It's easy to click a button, forward everything to all of your friends, and your friends forward it to their friends.
A good example is this email. The original version of this email has been circulating on the web since 2005 and have since evolved over the years. That's how it is in the web. It morphs over the changing times. It's like a virus. Once you find a vaccine to kill it, it has already transformed or mutated to another thing.
Let's not quickly judge without the facts. Doing nothing is even worse. This is apathy.
I'll leave you with this phrase from Henri Frederic Amiel, a 19th century Swiss philosopher. Truth is not only violated by falsehood; it may be equally outraged by silence.
Be aware. Be informed.

Another Year Ends
As we end another year and look forward to the next.
Instant Karma by John Lennon (30th Death Anniversary).
We reap what we sow. WHAT WE ARE TODAY, IS DUE TO WHAT WE DID YESTERDAY. WHAT WE ARE TOMORROW, WILL BE DUE TO WHAT WE DO TODAY.

20th Wedding Anniversary

just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. We flew to Calgary and did the long drive to Vancouver. It was a total of about 13 hours, which included picture opportunities (there's a lot along the way), and washroom breaks. We stayed overnight at Kamloops and drove the remaining 4 hours all the way to Vancouver. The view along the way was absolutely fantastic, the sceneries are breath-taking.
This was one of the scenic stopovers along the Trans Canada Highway, before Canmore, coming from Banff National Park.

Living in a world full of distractions
we live in a world full of distractions. we get distracted from so many things. televisions, internet, ads in billboards, in buses, on the train. it's all around us.
all of us have a goal in mind. what we want to do, where we want to be. the journey is full of choices. distractions slow us down. we lose our concentration. we lose focus on what's important.
find a time at the start of the day. go to your quiet place. create in your mind and picture things that need immediate attention. resolve to accomplish a task today.

thoughts ...
what do i write in my first blog? what experiences to share? will they find it amusing? inspirational? or plain boring? would anyone care? but you see, even in our daily lives, so full of ourselves, we touch people all around us. No matter what we do or don't do, or what we say or don't say, people are impacted. Friends, families, even people you don't know. You don't know that the smile you gave to the other person on the subway lifted his spirits tremendously.
